I’m sure all of you have by now heard the news of yesterday’s terrible tragedy in Haiti, with the island being struck by a 7.0 earthquake, flattening Port au Prince and many of the surrounding towns. I won’t spend too much time talking about it here, as there are many more capable and eloquent people who can add some real value to the discourse. Suffice to say that all of our prayers are going out to the injured and those worse off than that, and to all the families who have lost loved ones or cannot locate missing people.
